• Working under the head of the emergency services in ensuring the day to day operation of the emergency services.
• Monthly planning of emergency medical officers roster.
• Perform emergency medical procedures such as airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and defibrillation.
• Ensuring timely ambulance despatch.
• Establishing relationships with other business units of the company as well as local hospitals to facilitate quick transport of critically ill patients.
• Participating in drills designed to simulate real-life emergency scenarios.
• Supervising the team including nurses and medical officers in emergencies.

In addition to my duties as Resident medical Officer as Specialised Medical Officer I was given various training that helped me in working in the emergency department such as BLS ACLS MLS Neonatal resuscitation amongst others.

I learnt how to take charge of a shift and how to manage my team.

• Worked both in wards as well as in the Intensive Care Unit during this period until COVID Lockdown in 2020 whereby I shifted to the emergency department to reinforce the team.
• History taking,Conducted physical examinations of patients and ordered diagnostic tests as required.
• Referred patients to the required specialists
• Admitted patients for hospital stays.
• Analyzed records, exam data and test results to inform diagnoses.
• Immunized patients to reduce transmission of preventable diseases.
• Attended ambulance rescue calls and delivered emergency treatment.
• Carried out emergency procedures such as Intubation,CPR
• Carried out minor procedures such as IV Cannulation,Arterial Blood Gas,Incision and Drainage,Application of plasters and slabs,Suturing,Urinary Catheterisation.

As the company was setting up a new Hospital Information System HIS I was appointed as the cordinator for doctors in both CCare Darne and later CCare Wellkin.

My role consisted in

• Learning and understanding the functioning of the new system in order to
• suggest changes wherever required that would facilitate doctors work
• Giving training to all doctors on how to use the new system correctly
• Liasing between doctors and the HIS team about any queries
• Ensuring the smooth launching of the project on the doctors side

• Assessed student performance through tests and other assessments.
• Developed and implemented lesson plans based on curriculum objectives.
• Utilized technology-based learning tools to enhance classroom instruction.
• Collaborated with colleagues to plan lessons
• Accompanying the students on their hospital postings and helping them take history and examine patient before discussing about diagnosis and management for particular cases.
