Dominika Bychawska-Siniarska

Providing guidance to the Central Europe Program regarding its media grant initiatives. Engaging in advocacy efforts concerning media freedom in Central Europe. Offering advice on program enhancement strategies, including the establishment of a research aspect.

• Conducting strategic litigation in key freedom of expression cases, writing legal opinions, monitoring of journalists' activity, litigating before national and international courts, preparing amicus curiae briefs, editing publications on current media problems, domestic and international advocacy, awareness raising campaigns, managing the organization daily work.

• Setting up the organization focusing on the implementation of ECtHR judgments, working strategic planning, designing main activities, including trainings on ECtHR standards and implementation process, fundraising, supervision over the NGO daily work of the network embracing 25 different countries.

• Consultancy in two projects: 1
• Strengthening the Capacity of the Turkish Judiciary on Freedom of Expression and 2
• Reinforcing Judicial Expertise on Freedom of Expression and the Media in South-East Europe (JUFREX)
• Needs assessment missions, design of the training handbook, design of the training curriculum, providing training for trainers, coordination with local trainers, coordination with project coordinators from Turkey and Serbia, preparing reports after missions, trainings and meetings on curriculum.

• Advising the FRA Director on FRA activities and cooperation with civil society.

• Representation of Poland before EU Institutions in legal disputes, assessment of legislation in the scope of EU law
• Specializing in telecommunication and media law.
