- I am presenting the Head of Trade and Working Capital for Absa Mauritius, looking after the Flow Trade, Structured Trade and Commodity Finance and FI Trade
- Having worked for an International Bank (Barclays Bank PLC), Pan-African Bank (Absa Bank (Mauritius) Ltd, am looking forth for another challenge in my career
- For the last 14 years in Corporate and International Banking, I have had the opportunity to launch the following products, among others, for the Bank: FI Trade, Selective Receivable Finance, Supplier Finance, Structured Trade and Commodity Finance, GFA - Garantie Financière d’Achèvement.evement
- I also had the opportunity to drive several projects for the bank, namely: Trade Management Platform (Trade Internet Banking), the Pricing Tool, Funds Transfer Pricing, and the Payment System.
- I have worked in different departments of the bank namely, Retail, Treasury Operations, Payment, Swift, Trade Operations and the processing Centre and these different units have enabled me to understand the whole ecosystem of a bank
- In my present role, I am responsible to drive the Trade Strategy for the Bank, originate, structure and execute deals for the Large Corporate Onshore, Offshore, Global Corporate, Business Banking and Retail Clients
- I have a deep knowledge of all Trade products and through the Absa Asset Hub framework, I have the opportunity to structure deals for Absa presence countries (Trade opportunities in 9 countries) and have a sound understanding of the different markets
- As Head of Trade & Working Capital, I am proud to state that Absa Bank (Mauritius) Ltd, has been awarded the 'Best Trade & Supply Chain Finance' Bank in Mauritius for 2024 by the Asian Banker
