In my role at Hawlati newspaper and website, I am tasked with the daily preparation of international news articles, a responsibility that ensures I remain consistently informed about global policies. Additionally, I am entrusted with the translation of articles between English and Kurdish, addressing the diverse linguistic needs of our publication. As editor-in-chief, I oversee the work of other journalists, rigorously reviewing their submissions to uphold our editorial standards and ensure the integrity and quality of our news content.

My tenure at Rudaw Media Network offered a comprehensive immersion into the field of journalism. Over the course of two years, I acquired a nuanced understanding of the operational dynamics within television broadcasting, digital news publication, and social media content management. My professional capabilities include strategic planning, composing articles in both Kurdish and English, producing in-house videos and VTs, and crafting specialized reports on international affairs.

In addition to the expansion of my journalistic skills, I have honed my proficiency as a translator, adept at interpreting between Kurdish and English. My linguistic expertise has been called upon at numerous conferences and meetings, both hosted by Rudaw and other organizations, where I served as an interpreter. This role has not only enhanced my language skills but also deepened my understanding of cross-cultural communication within the professional sphere.

I served as a translator and reviewer for the Kurdology website, which is dedicated to publishing scholarly, historical, and cultural articles in Kurdish. The primary objective of Kurdology is to augment the digital informational resources available to Kurdish readers. In my capacity, I was responsible for translating articles written by our team and meticulously reviewing them to ensure accuracy, coherence, and the maintenance of the intended meaning across linguistic transitions.

I spent two years teaching at a language institute during the summer sessions. The age range of my students varied from 13 to 35 years. Although my formal education does not include a degree from an English department, my participation in the Academic Preparation Program at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani significantly enhanced my proficiency and teaching skills in English, thereby facilitating my effectiveness as an instructor.
