Jerzy Garbarek

Summary

I specialize in organometallic chemistry processes, such as metathesis reactions and catalytically induced silyl functionalizations, although I do not limit myself to one area of research. Most of my work concerns polymer synthesis, POSS systems, and click chemistry processes, along with methods for analyzing compounds and materials, including GC-MS, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, NMR, GPC, TGA/DTG/DSC, and SEM. In my work, I try to keep an open mind and look for new ways to gather information in order to meet the challenges of synthetic chemistry. Reliability, conscientiousness, and punctuality are my most valuable qualities, which allow me to organize my work well. I am also enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge with others, as it gives me great satisfaction. During my studies, I had the honor of presenting the results of my work at both national and international conferences, which gave me the opportunity to meet many talented scientists from around the world.
