I have always been passionate about languages and their role in connecting people across cultures. My academic journey led me to study Greek Neophilology, where I am continuously developing my language skills and deepening my understanding of Greek culture.
This scholarship in Athens presents a unique opportunity for me to immerse myself in the language, experience Greek traditions firsthand, and refine my communication skills in an authentic environment. Additionally, I am eager to work in an international setting, collaborate with diverse communities, and further develop my intercultural and professional competencies. My goal is to apply these experiences in my future career, contributing to global dialogue and cooperation.
In summer 2019 I participated in a vacation cours organised by British Council in Warsaw. The classes were focused on speaking and active listening as well as working in groups.
I had the opportunity to learn the language from native speakers and develop my skills on the professional level.
Volunteering at the Auschwitz Museum was one of the most profound and humbling experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to assist Holocaust survivors, offering them companionship, and a listening their stories.
In addition to working with survivors, I was also involved in organizing various aspects of the museum’s operations. Whether it was assisting with archives, helping to coordinate events, or ensuring that exhibits were properly maintained, I took pride in contributing to the museum’s mission of education and remembrance.
This experience gave me a deeper understanding of history, resilience, and the importance of truth as well as helped me develop better communicational skills in english.
Thanks to the #LesserPolish.eu project, I had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the European Union, its institutions, and the procedures related to funding within EU countries. My responsibilities included conducting interviews and carrying out local research on environmental issues, social opinions, and concerns regarding the future role and support of the EU.
The project concluded with a four-day visit to Brussels, where my fellow participants and I had the privilege of exploring key EU institutions, including the European Parliament and the European Council. Additionally, we took part in workshops focused on debating techniques and the organization of structured discussions.
During my vacation internship at Platige Image, one of Poland’s leading graphic studios, I worked five days a week, gaining valuable experience in both creative and administrative roles.
My primary responsibility involved interviewing visual artists and graphic designers, then composing concise biographical summaries highlighting their work. Additionally, I assisted at the reception desk, where I welcomed guests, managed documentation, and handled correspondence. This experience allowed me to interact with inspiring professionals while enhancing my creativity, communication, and organizational skills.
