Over the last 10 years I have been working onboard of various cruise ships (AIDA Cruises) all the way from waiter to the executive restaurant manager. I worked as a restaurant manager in either buffet or a-la-carte restaurants with international teams from 4 to 16 waiters in 2013 to 2019.
Since 2019 I have been in charge of all restaurant operations onboard since 2019 with 5 and more restaurants and 75 employees at a time.
Main responsibilities onboard: Scheduling, evaluations, supervision, briefings with restaurant managers, organizing and conducting various functions, taking part in audits, beverage and equipment inventories, service knowledge trainings, maintaining health and hygiene protocols etc.
Due to this onboard experience, I am used to a high work flow and am able to adjust to the situation in regard to achieving goals and keeping the deadlines.
