- Asked to build new procurement department (new people, new ERP system) - created analytic tools, procedures and work rules - after 3 year described as perfectly operating
- Responsible for: stock optimization, timely deliveries for production and other internal needs, estimating demand, securing materials and services for production and for estimated future needs, gathering and analyzing all possible data (historical, statistical, estimations, market trends, suppliers conditions time/price/volume), building suppliers database and strategy knowing their capacity/lead time/ prices, negotiating, defining rules for cooperation. Results: KPIs/results 50-100% better than expected, strategical alliances with suppliers negotiated, production always secure (in case there was a problem we always managed to find an alternative solution)
- Responsible for logistics (any delivery and shipment to/from company - EU and other, China, India, ZEA): created together with warehouse un/loading rules, created shipment rules and strategy for delivering goods to clients, cooperating with numerous subcontractors (over 100), looking for new partners, cooperating with forwarders, carriers, customs, looking for best options considering volume/priority/time/delivery costs/customs and other, cooperating with sales department taking over contact with clients in order to provide optimal delivery. Results: timely deliveries to our company and to our clients all over the world. Multiple options, optimized costs, ability to undertake difficult decisions basing on collected data (different suppliers, different lead times, different shipment costs (INCOTERMS), importance of the project)
