Client: ALDI NORD – Azure BAU & DevOps Administrator

• Playing a key role as a Monitoring lead of team 7 and also as an Azure Administrator.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure for multiple critical workloads in Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, high availability, and operational continuity.
• Handle the administration of Microsoft Entra ID, including Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to enforce granular access control and secure identity governance.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and custom Dashboards, providing deep operational insights and proactive issue detection.
• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and drive automation initiatives using PowerShell and Azure-native tools, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving team efficiency. Spearheaded a dedicated team of 5 Azure Administrators catering to ALDI clients, overseeing all 200 client subscriptions hosted on Azure, delivering comprehensive support for resources, and managing administrative tasks from an Azure cloud standpoint.
• Playing a pivotal role in the cloud Business-As-Usual (BAU) team for ALDI, responsible for deploying, managing & decommissioning of resources within centrally managed subscriptions through CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
• Developed custom PowerShell scripts for automating deployments and modifications on underlying resources.
• Played a key role in saving of thousands of Euros per year to the customer by continuous cost optimization of rightsizing resources,auto start & shutdown VMs through automation runbook and cleaning up unwanted/unused resources.
• Provide stakeholders with detailed reports on current storage account usage, facilitating informed decision-making and resource optimization.
• Deploy and oversee the management of Keyvaults and their components, ensuring secure storage and management of sensitive information.
• Utilize densify reports for rightsizing VMs, optimizing resource allocation and enhancing cost-efficiency.
• End-End management of Virtual Networks.

Client : Essent / EON - AWS Cloud support Engineer

• Monitor and maintaining existing AWS infrastructure.

• Utilize different AWS services to ensure high availability, backups and security of the

infrastructure.

• Work along with application teams to apply latest patches and vulnerability fixes to ensure

the compliance.

• Automate infrastructure deployments by creating Cloud Formation stacks using AWS CDK

with support of TypeScript.

• Perform necessary modifications to the typescript (Infrastructure as code) and GitLab

pipelines in order to resolve the day to day incidents.

• Gather requirements from application teams and perform necessary CI/CD application

upgrades like JFrog Artifactory, GitLab, Sonarqube, etc.

• Configure CRON jobs and systemctl files to automate the required application functionality.

• Work on incidents and resolve them within the SLA. Figure out the permanent solution for

the repeated incidents.

• Configure automated process using different AWS services like cloudwatch, SNS, etc to monitor the critical infrastructure alerts and perform necessary actions to avoid

disruptions to the customer.

• Identify new approaches on designing software integrations and enable maximum utilization of platforms.

• Design and Implement POCs on container-based solutions.

• Worked on various container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes.

• Creating multiple Kubernetes configuration files for PODs, Services, Deployments,Configmaps, Ingress service, etc.
