  • Trus Trade Ltd is a startup that we created as Zambian Students in Turkey with a major goal of providing business opportunities between the two countries by easing the cultural differences and language barriers which for longtime has hindered cooperation.
  • As the Founder of the startup, i developed and implemented new strategies and policies in collaboration with key company members to establish and achieve long-term business objectives, providing our startup with strong and sustainable organizational leadership.
  • Fostered new business partners through participation in Turkish trade shows and initiating communication with prospective individuals and companies that have a huge interest in growing their businesses in Africa.
  • Developed a sensitization and educating program that was aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship among my fellow youths in Zambia by promoting webinars and online meetings with successful businesses.
  • Conducted target market research to scope out industry competition and identify advantageous trends that would be very beneficial for Zambia.
  • Negotiated terms of business acquisitions to increase business base, solidify market presence and diversify offerings and also reviewed individual performance of the team i was working with to improve processes, procedures and practices.

  • During my term as Project Manager i was fully involved in providing a platform that would enable Zambian Students both graduates and non graduates to have a productive, progressive, civilized and intellectual interaction focusing on the general welfare of every Zambian student by developing digital tools ,social media pages and a registered website "www.zasat.org"
  • We created the first ever Convention in Kayseri, Turkey organized by a student association and was attended by dignitaries like the Ambassador to Turkey from Zambia and key Turkish Industrial stakeholders .
  • I created a platform which enabled students to discuss possible solutions to the challenges they are faced in universities, internship places and the overall social welfare.
  • We helped in locating industrial opportunities for students both in Turkey and Zambia.
  • We set up initiatives that focused on equipping students with career skills that will be beneficial after graduation , career relationships and mutual understandings between industrial players and the Zambian students.
  • Conducted Industrial tours to schools, companies and organizations and educated them about Africa in general.
