My name is Nia Folan, 26 years old and I am from Galway. As a newly graduated DVM I understand the need to develop my skills further and experiences. I studied abroad at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and graduated in September of 2025. Having the opportunity to study abroad and to experience a different country and ways of practice has given me a broader insight into different people and also patients. I have a keen interest in small animal medicine but also a growing interest in large animals with a focus on public health.
