o Responsibility of the Group finance department and reporting to the Board of Southey Mauritius Group Board of Directors.

o Member of the Audit Committee, Internal Audit Committee, and Tax and Compliance Committee.

o Lead the regional finance team, ensuring streamlined operations, accurate reporting, and strategic financial planning, as well as the most tax efficient way to repatriation of funds.

o Cultivated and maintained relationships with investment partners and facility agents, including preparation of financial covenants for the Group, and active involvement in the re-financing of the group’s senior debt.

o Responsible for providing the operating board and Group CFO with operational budgets, facilitating success through cost analysis support, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

o Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance and regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

· Preparation of accounts and handling company secretarial duties for corporates and trusts structures

· Over viewing the structuring, incorporation and liquidation of corporate entities;

· Assisting the Managing Director in establishing tax efficient structures

· Responsible for the preparation of accounts and day to day accounting functions

· Overall responsibility of the finance team in Mauritius

• Compilation and analysis of financial data to generate management accounts, statutory financials, and consolidated accounts for the Mauritian entities within the MIH Group.
• Execution of tasks pertaining to the preparation and examination of forecasts, budgets, and financial reports, ensuring alignment with the Group’s policies and procedures.
• Management of treasury activities within the Group, including adherence to the Group’s Treasury Policy, and fulfillment of associated responsibilities.
• Generation of weekly cash reports and ad hoc financial reports for presentation to the Group Audit Committee.
• Development of cash flow projections, as well as evaluation and strategic planning of cash outflow and investment activities.
