Active member of the Governing Board of several European Learned Societies. Strongly involved in research, both clinical and translational, focused on digestive cancers, especially gastric cancer and gastric precancerous lesions. French Coordinator of three European projects aiming at evaluation of gastric cancer screening and prevention strategy in Europe, and member of several international consortia in this field. Dedicated teacher and mentor of several Ph.D. students. Organizer and driving force of several educational and public awareness events, both on national and international level, in the field of Digestive Oncology and digestive cancers prevention.
