Work History

Assistant Professor

My research interests focus on the reception of ancient culture in the early mass culture (1870-1930). I analyze this problem based on postcards, advertising prints, collector's cards, photos and booklets. I base my research on my unique collection of over 4 thousand objects. A clear manifestation of early mass culture are the British pageants from 1906-1939, which I intend to further analyze during my Affiliate Academic Appointment.
