Laboratory manager- This was the year long project in which we as a team stabilized new Material Laboratory in Poland Technology center within the guidelines of local and EU HSE rules, I was responsible for creating and implementing the good lab practice like stop 5S, creating SOPs along with and leading the timely ISO and internal audits, IMS documentation,calibration & maintenance of lab equipments, digitalization of lab practices and process automation.

Material Compliance Regulation- The aim of this project was to get inline with the new EU gridline for the usage of raw material for the production and as material experts I lead the material and chemical units to represent in EU governing bodies like RECH and ECHA.

Continuous Improvement - The project was focused on the global quality initiative to identify the gaps and fill them with help of latest tool and technologies like digitalization and AI.

SalesforceDotCom- In this project I was leading the transformer and components group to develop the platform where the customer and organizations technical experts can be connected via digital technology to ensure 24*7 customer support, and we successfully implemented the technology and improved the collaboration with customers both internal and external across the globe.

Material supplier qualification and benchmarking- This Project involved creating the 2nd source of supplier for the backup, I was responsible for technical support which includes identifying the supplier, factory inspection, sample collection and performing the testing and analysis then creating RMS to benchmark the supplier. we succeeded to create pool of 21 new material supplier for our global factories.

Project Manager- As a R&D engineer working with global technology center i have worked on multiple technology and product development projects like-

  • Standardizing rigid and flexible Laminate insulation specification by via experimentation and validation.
  • Development of Thermally advanced insulation material.
  • Development and validation of epoxy-based laminates internally.

Setting up Material R&D Lab- Project involved identification of the gaps, creating requirement specifications, identifying the promising suppliers, followed by negotiation and delivery of lab machinery followed by successful installation.

  • HSE Approval- Critical part of lab operation, involved creating HSE documents by ensuring local and global HSE requirement fulfilment.
  • Testing standard drafting- I am also tasked to prepare the internal standard for the R&D lab testing, which includes preparing international and internal standards required for the dielectric material testing (ASTM, IEC, IEEE, UL, and ISO)
  • I am also member of IEC steering committee and have active participation in IEC/CIGRE annual conference
  • Experimentation, data compiling and report preparation-
  • Quality control- Defining state-of-art material analysis techniques to make sure the material is validated and qualified as per the IEC and IEEE standard.

Process optimisation- To optimisation and Productivity enhancement of cellulose & non-cellulose based Transformer and motor insulation by 10%, through investigating different processing parameters and process simulation tools.

Continuous Improvement- A year long project where as a material specialist, I was responsible for creating the global material specification for the Transformer and Motor insulation for Hitachi Energy LTD. this also include data collection, correction and data cleansing.
